The food was great, fresh and better than than the Folsom location which we normally go to. We ordered yummy potato wedges (they cooked them crispy), delicious bean & cheese burritos and a beef taco. All were cooked fresh and very tasty. Good service.
I was at the Cameron Park, CA location. A fabulous employee Jeri provided stellar service. She offered water to anyone not ordering a drink, expressing her concern about the customers being hydrated. While I was there, she went to each table asking how every one was doing. She was the most impressive employee I have ever witnessed EVER. And the tacos were excellent. The best of decades of of visits to Jimboys.
Jimboy's is a great place for a fast, delicious meal. The chicken tacos are soooo good, and they have the best burritos. You should put this restaurant on your list if you have never tried it!
A NorCal institution. Don't miss out on their Parmesan covered tacos filled with ground beef, melty melty cheese and sauce. Of course there's lettuce in there too, but I take most of that out. Their beans and cheese burrito is amazing, as is their taco burger. This location was clean and had friendly staff.
I love jimboys tacos. I've been eating them for decades, but the jimboys tacos in Cameron Park, CA is the worst. Their tacos are only half the size of any other jimboys tacos and the last 2 times I picked up food from there, 2 tacos out of a 6 pk were way burnt and the 2 bean burritos were burnt as well. I won't go back again!!! I'll go up the road to placerville jimboys. They know how to make great food and they're not skimpy about the meat. They have never burnt anything I've ordered. 2/12/25 I've gone back to try their food again and they have vastly improved the amount and quality of their products. I would recommend them after l have visited them now a few times.
Fast and tasty. We usually stop at the one on Watt Avenue when we are traveling through sacramento for nostalgia (a family favorite for 20 years). This location was new to us, but the food as good or better than our memory. It makes a difference that everything is cooked from scratch that day. We were impressed with the daily special (enchiladas ) and the ground beef tacos were surprisingly excellent for the price. Wish they were closer!
